I was driving home from work today, tired and alone, The station on the radio was playing Christmas songs. My eyes filled up with tears, on the windshield snowflakes fell, Christmas isn't quite the same when you spend it by yourself. So I dried my tears, and stopped the car to buy a Christmas tree At a lot alive with parents and their children filled with glee. So I picked a tree and brought it home and fumbled for my key, Christmas isn't quite the same when you're far from family. So I got my boxes and my bags of ornaments from home, The stockings and the tree skirt that my Mom had sweetly sewn. And the manger Dad had built for me when I moved out alone, And Christmas wasn't quite the same as it was when i was home. And as i hung each memory shining on my tree, I remembered all the love with which each one was brought to me. And time and space could not erase the blessings i have known. Christmas time is all about the love that you've been shown. Christmas time is all about the love that we all show. Silent night, holy night.......

If I can't be home with you this Christmas, If we must spend it far apart. If I can't be home with you this Christmas, I'll meet you in my heart. I've never missed a Christmas under your tree, And I love you so very much, it's plain for all to see. I'd move heaven and earth to be back home with you, And this Christmas without you will be so very blue. If I can't be home with you this Christmas, If we must spend it far apart. If I can't be home with you this Christmas, I'll meet you in my heart. At Christmas time and all year through should the miles come between, My mind will take me back in time to the joyous times we've seen. So I will hope and I will pray to the heavens up above, That we'll be together very soon and celebrate with love. So, if I can't be home with you this Christmas, If we must spend it far apart. Yeah, if I can't be home with you this Christmas, I'll meet you in my heart. Yeah, If I can't be home with you this Christmas, If we must spend it far apart. Yeah, If I can't be home with you this Christmas, I'll meet you in my heart. I'll meet you in my heart. I'll meet you in my heart.

The star shines brightly at the top of the tree, Children are sleeping with Christmas in their dreams. And all through the world there's a hush in the air, For peace and love and kindness are flowing everywhere. And it must be Christmas for my heart is filled with love. Yes it must be Christmas for I feel the heavens up above. The stockings are hanging, milk and cookies waiting there, For Santa is coming to the children everywhere. Pretty ribbons on the presents waiting under the tree Hold many heartfelt wonders, being given so lovingly. And it must be Christmas for my heart is filled with love. Yes it must be Christmas for I feel the heavens up above. The star shines so brightly, as it did that first Christmas night. The star shines so brightly to guide our hearts with love. And if we could hold this feeling in our hearts all through the year, The world would have peace and love, no room for hatred and fear. And it must be Christmas for my heart is filled with love. Yes it must be Christmas for I feel the heavens up above. And it must be Christmas for my heart is filled with love. Yes it must be Christmas for I feel the heavens up above. And the star shines so brightly.....to guide our hearts with love.

Christmas time means love honey, Christmas time is love. It's not about the gifts, it ain't about the money... Christmas time is love. This joyous time comes once a year and children long to see The miracle that Santa came, and gifts around the tree. But Santa has a workshop, and help from all his elves, They work all year to build enough to fill up all their shelves. But what about the people that struggle by each day, And all the gifts we'd love to give cost way too much to pay? Christmas time means love honey, Christmas time is love. It's not about the gifts, it ain't about the money... Christmas time is love. Yeah Christmas time means love honey, Christmas time is love. It's not about the gifts, it ain't about the money... Christmas time is love. And to some Christmas is hard, they feel they've lost their way, Missing loved ones that are gone can cause a lot of pain. The things that can be bought in stores don't bring them what they need, At Christmas time and all year through it's love, not money or greed. Christmas time means love honey, Christmas time is love. It's not about the gifts, it ain't about the money... Christmas time is love. So this Christmas time when Santa comes be thankful for what he brings, But take the time to look around for love and not just for things. Give all the people in your life the best gift of all, Let them know just how you feel and that you love them all! Christmas time means love honey, Christmas time is love. It's not about the gifts, it ain't about the money... Christmas time is love. Yeah Christmas time means love honey, Christmas time is love. It's not about the gifts, it ain't about the money... Christmas time is love. It's not about the gifts, it ain't about the money.... Christmas time is love!

Time has a funny way of hanging there a while, Nothing changes very much when you are still a child. And everything stays just the same with every passing year, And Christmas time is such a joy when family are near. So how do you find Christmas in your heart, When you've lost the ones that meant the most And taught you from the start, The meaning of love, of tradition and of home? Yes, how do you find Christmas on your own? Mum would bake us Christmas treats And Dad would hang the lights, Both were done with so much love so it all would be just right. And we'd decorate the living room so festively at night, Singing all our favorite Christmas songs with joy and great delight! And on Christmas day we'd open gifts around the Christmas tree, My mom, my dad and brother, the family dog and me. And as the years had passed us by, and after we had grown, For these precious times at Christmas we'd always make it home. So how do you find Christmas in your heart, When you've lost the ones that meant the most And taught you from the start, The meaning of love, of tradition and of home? Yes, how do you find Christmas on your own? There comes a time in all our lives when everything must change, Those times of love and laughter can now cause so much pain. But the blessings of those times we've had And the loved ones who are gone, Will always be a part of us and at Christmas they'll live on. So that is how you find Christmas in your heart, When you've lost the ones that meant the most And taught you from the start, The meaning of love, of tradition and of home? They will always be a part of us And at Christmas they'll live on. Yes, that is how you find Christmas in your heart, When you've lost the ones that meant the most And taught you from the start, The meaning of love, of tradition and of home? They are in our hearts at Christmas And each day all year long. They are in our hearts at Christmas, And through us ....they'll live on. At Christmas......

And so it's out with the old, in with the new, Saying goodbye to the year with you. And with the hard there's been good too, And in the ups and downs it's seen us through. Until it's out with the old and in with the new. The days can run together, and the years will do the same, We only see them pass us by as the seasons change. But in the busy lives we lead one thing will still be true, No amount of work or money beats spending time with you. And so it's out with the old, in with the new, Saying goodbye to the year with you. And with the hard there's been good too, And in the ups and downs it's seen us through. Until it's out with the old and in with the new. And at the stroke of midnight, nothing will really change. There is no magic reset button to start it all again. But in our minds reflection, we can see the path we've led, And look into the future and choose love and joy ahead. And so it's out with the old, in with the new, Saying goodbye to the year with you. And with the hard there's been good too, And in the ups and downs it's seen us through. And so it's out with the old and in with the new.

If I had a sleigh, if I had a sleigh I'd hitch up my reindeer and be on my way. I'd be on my way, to fetch you today And bring you back home to me. Christmas time comes once a year, please make my wish come true, This Christmas time all i need is you. At Christmas time and all year through, At Christmas time and all year through, It's not the things in stores you see, No... love is all you need. The joy we feel at Christmas time's not from money or from things, It's the people in our hearts and the love they bring. My Christmas wish, my Christmas wish, This year I have one Christmas wish. I wish I may, I wish I might, That love will make this world bright! If everyone the whole world through could feel this love like me, The whole year long every heart would be set free! If I had a sleigh, if I had a sleigh, I'd hitch up my reindeer and be on my way, I'd be on my way to fetch you today, And get you under my tree.... And get you under my tree..... Yes....love is all we need!
